The task

A demo project: show how to automate e2e tests of a desktop app with a real sign-in, on a clean machine every time.

What was done

  • A Windows machine in AWS is provisioned with Terraform.
  • Silent installation of the app.
  • OAuth sign-in with the return to the app via deeplink.
  • A check that the session persists.
  • A video of every run in ReportPortal.
